AVT is a division of the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP), Coimbatore, Ltd., established in 1943. AVP has around 50 clinics and hospitals and over 400 ayurvedic formulations manufactured in the two GMP certified production facilities in Kerala, India.

The three sounds in Om (AUM) represent the waking, dream and deep sleep states of an individual’s consciousness. And the fourth state- silence which surrounds Om is represented by the dot. This utterly quiet, peaceful and blissful state is the ultimate aim of all our activity. One has to get across this semicircle called ‘Maya’ or the illusion that obstructs us from the realization of this highest state of bliss.
The corporate combo of colours used, Tangerine/Earth red/White give a ‘twist of shine and earthliness’. It stands for the serenity of Om Vedic Heritage Centre’s earthly paradise!
About Vedic Heritage

The word “Veda” literally means knowledge and is derived from the Sanskrit root “Vid” having four meanings of the root vid. These are ‘to know, to be, to attain, and to think’. The Vedas consist of a body of Indian texts dating back to many centuries and are integral to the understanding of the Vedic Culture. There are four Vedas: Rig , Yajur, Sama and Atharva Vedas. They house the earliest recorded poetry and prose literature of the human race. The vast ocean of Vedic knowledge encompasses every area of human experience including both material and spiritual knowledge. Studies on a wide range of disciplines such as medicine, politics, agriculture, engineering, sociology, philosophy, natural sciences and astrology are found in the Sanskrit Vedic writings.
We at Om Vedic Heritage Centre project the Indian (Vedic) heritage of India. It would touch upon many aspects of life: medicine, art, architecture, philosophy, life-style, crafts and traditional behaviour of Indian people, providing a kaleidoscopic view of India and its rich heritage.

ABOUT OUR COLLABORATOR
The Ayurvedic Trust, is the charitable wing of The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore, India, which was established on 12th July 1943. Over the years, it has grown into a large enterprise in the field of Ayurveda offering services in the fields of Education, Research, Pharmacy and Clinical Practice. AVP manufactures around 400 therapeutic formulations in the two GMP certified production facilities in Kerala. Padmashri Sri P.R. Krishnakumar, son of the illustrious Rama Variar, is the head of the AVP group of institutions. He has dedicated his life to the promotion of Indian science, art and culture and in particular Ayurveda. Well versed in Ayurveda, Indian architecture, astrology, philosophy and other allied subjects, Sri Krishnakumar is on the advisory board of several government and non-governmental organisations involved in the propagation of Ayurveda. He was instrumental in bringing Ayurveda to the attention of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
